In case you missed the news, the highly anticipated Aberdeen Seafood Market is now open. The owner of The House of Fish in Aberdeen wanted to be able to provide the community with a place to get fresh, wild-caught seafood, and now he’s finally able to. The market opened last month and as Moore County’s only fresh seafood market, it has been well-received by the public.
With four scheduled deliveries a week, the fish are always fresh and that quality is what keeps customers coming back. A regular haul can bring in a wide variety of fish, including Black Drum, Branzino, Cod, Striped Bass, Mahi-Mahi, Flounder, Bream, Salmon, Red Grouper, Trout, Catfish filets, Shark, Spot, Shrimp, Scallops, Crabmeat, Oysters, and Lobsters.
For daily updates about new arrivals to the market, visit the Aberdeen Seafood Market Facebook page. You can also ask questions about current supply or make special requests.
The reviews for the market are outstanding, and it’s great to know that there’s a good local place to get fresh seafood in Moore County.
