Maguro Hibachi Steakhouse and Asian Cuisine opened next to Brixx Pizza in Southern Pines at the start of 2018. We stopped by during the first week, and were impressed with the really nice interior and helpful staff.
The restaurant set up is split between a Hibachi Steakhouse on one side with lots of stations and tables for dining on the other side. The interior is spacious, with plenty of room for groups, couples, or individuals.
They have a big menu with lots of options, including a huge sushi menu.
When we went, we tried the Chicken with Garlic and Sesame Chicken bento boxes. Both were fresh and flavorful.
We stopped for lunch by chance and there was a young man standing outside. I asked” Was it good.?” He said.” YES, of course” and I said” OH!, It’s too late to go in.” It was 2:30 on the dot. He said,” OH, NO! You can go in ” and he opened the door for us. He walked us to a table. We had steak and chicken and TEMPURA SHRIMP! It was Wonderful!!!
