January 2019 Food Events in Moore County
Happy New Year, eaters! We can’t wait to see what this year holds for food in Moore County, and we look forward to continuing to share info and photos from all of the great local restaurants in our community.
Here are some January food events happening in the area this month:
January 3: Music Bingo at Rudino’s
Head to Rudino’s Pizza & Grinders in Southern Pines for an amazing night of music, prizes, and drink specials. Test your music knowledge and compete against your friends and other patrons. It’s easy to play, and everyone is welcome!
January 8: Triple Tuesdays at Kickback Jacks
Visit Kickback Jacks every Tuesday for $5 dollar classic cheese burgers, team trivia, and world tavern poker. They also have amazing drink specials with all pints $3.25 and half price wine.
January 9: Curry Nights (every Wednesday in January)
Turn up the heat for winter! Curry Nights happen every Wednesday in January at The Sly Fox. Attend all 4 weeks and receive a $25 gift card to The Sly Fox.
January 9: Global Destinations Dinner Series – Island of Sicily
The Global Destinations Dinner Series features Islands of the Mediterranean. Enjoy a 4 course dinner from the region for $30 per person++. Optional Wine Pairing $20 per person++. Please call for reservations. Seating is limited.
January 10: Lunch Bunch at Table on the Green
Join Newcomers of the Pinehurst Area for lunch as Lunch Bunch kicks off the New Year at the Table-on-the-Green at the Midland Country Club. RSVP required.
January 12: Paint & Sip at House of Fish: New Year 2019 Edition
Come out and enjoy a live painting session with friends and co-workers. Painting Samples will be provided on Event Page. No supplies are needed! All you have to do is show up and show out! NO experience is necessary! You will be guided by an experienced instructor.
January 17: Art of Cooking Dinner Series – Yardbird
Keep calm and cook on! Class is in session, and Chef Elliott is back at it again. Join us as Chef brings the heat to help sharpen your skill set. Included is a demo, discussions and, of course, a few nibbles followed by a 3 course dinner, $38 per person++.
January 19: Cousins Maine Lobster Food Truck at Southern Pines Brewing Company
Head to Southern Pines Brewing Company for Cousins Maine Lobster Food Truck on Saturday, January, 19th from 12-6pm!
January 21: January’s Full Wolf Moon at Full Moon Oyster Bar & Seafood Restaurant
Celebrate January’s Full Wolf Moon by indulging in a Super Moon Platter for two which includes snow crab legs, fresh oysters, shrimp, mussels, clams, scallops, and King Crab!
January 26: Axes & X’s
Enjoy a beer from Southern Pines Brewing Company and throw some Axe’s with Axes’s & X’s!
January 31: Ironman visits Kickback Jacks
Come on out to Kickbacks from 6-8pm for Kids Night (.99 cent kids meals!) and see Ironman! Ironman would love to see you and take his picture with you!! They also have crafts and face painting for the kids, and Team Trivia will be there with special Ironman Trivia!!
