February 2018 Food Events in Moore County, NC
February is jam-packed with fun food events happening all around the county. Here are a few you won’t want to miss.
February 8: Chili Smack Down Chili #2
The winners are in! Help choose who’s chili is good enough for The Sly Fox menu! The chili with the most sales at the end of their week will receive a $100 gift card and their chili will be featured on our menu for the month of March.
February 9: Tangerine Space Machine Release Party
Come to Southern Pines Growler Company finally anticipated Tangerine Space Machine New England IPA with a special release party. On tap: Tangerine Space Machine, Blue Sunday Sour, Dragons Milk, and No Confusion.
February 10: 2018 Chocolate Festival
The women of Pinehurst UMC will be hosting their fourth biennial Chocolate Festival where the goal is to provide a fun day for the community and to raise money for local charities that assist women and children in our community.
February 10: Polish Dinner
The Knights of Columbus will host a Polish Dinner. Knights, Parishioners, friends, neighbors and guests are all invited. The menu will consist of Kielbasa, Sauerkraut, Stuffed Cabbage, Bread, Dessert, Spirited Beverages, Soft Drinks, and Coffee. Reservations only since seating is limited.
February 13: Galentines Day at Wine & Design
Grab your girls and your wine and head over for a night of ladies celebrating ladies! No experience necessary, but pre-registration is required. The painting class is from 6:30-8:30pm. Please arrive by 6:15 to fix a glass of wine, set up your snacks, and mingle with friends. All classes are BYOB so bring your own food and drinks.
February 13: Fat Tuesday/Taco Tuesday Party

February 14: Valentine’s Day at The Sly Fox
The Sly Fox is offering a 3-Course Prix Fixe Menu with a Glass of Bubbly. Make your reservations early!

February 15: Art of Cooking Series
The Art of Cooking Series continues with Curry. Chef Mark Elliott will showcase Curry with Demonstration, Discussion and a 4 Course Dinner. Call for reservations. Seating is limited.
February 18: English Carvery at The Sly Fox
The traditional Sunday roast at The Fox features Roast Beef, Roasted Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes with Roasted Carrots and Parsnips, Yorkshire Puddings, Horseradish and Gravy.
