August Food Events in Moore County, NC

Summer is winding down, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t still a ton of fun August food events on the calendar. Here are five you won’t want to miss.

August 2: Dames and Drinks at Elliotts on Linden
Test out the new Wine and Cocktail Menu at Elliotts on Linden. 3 Bites and a Tasting Flight: $20 per person++. Please call for reservations. Seating is Limited.

August 4: Jazzy Fridays at Cypress Bend Vineyards
Every Friday night, Cypress Bend Vineyards becomes a true social hot spot. Enjoy a bottle of wine and dancing with friends under the tent while listening to the live band.

August 7: Pedals & Pints
Ride around downtown Southern Pines pulling out at 6pm. Burn some calories, have fun, and reward yourself with cold beer & food afterwards. Drawing at end for lucky winner.

August 12: The Goodie Jar August Demo at the Farmers Market
Stop by the Farmers Market and learn how to use nutrient rich produce from the market to make breakfast goodies. Come and sample away!

August 25: Drafts & A Laugh – Happy Gilmore
Bring your lawn chairs and some friends and watch Happy Gilmore on the big screen at Aberdeen Lake Park while enjoying some delicious Railhouse Brewery beer and concessions.
