We recently had lunch with clients at The Deuce — a new restaurant in the Clubhouse of the Pinehurst Resort that overlooks the historic 18th hole of Pinehurst No. 2. You have to walk through the Member’s Area and past the Pro Shop to find the restaurant, but it’s well worth the trip. Even though it recently opened, it has already been recognized as a top golf course restaurant. It’s open to the public and was full of guests when we dined there.

With both indoor and outdoor dining (with a spectacular view), it’s no wonder that this is a popular spot. The Deuce serves lunch until 3 p.m. and small bites through dusk, and the bar offers a variety of cocktails and craft beers on tap. In addition to the menu items, they also have a buffet for lunch with soup to desserts.

We had the Buffalo Chicken Salad, Chicken Avocado Wrap, and some burgers. Everything was delicious, and we will definitely be back!
