Serving brunch, lunch, and dinner, Ironwood in Pinehurst always has a creative menu. They’re known for their beef, but also they grow their own herbs and vegetables in the garden next to the restaurant. Outdoor dining is very popular in the summer on their big patio.
When we went, we had chicken and chili rellenos, crazy corn and chicken salad, chicken pot pie, and a burger. The dessert was a persimmon pudding and evoo pound cake with raspberry compote. Everything tasted extremely fresh and flavorful.

Prices were fair. Everyone enjoyed dinner. We are regulars and I was impressed.
