The Ice Cream Parlor Restaurant is in the heart of downtown Southern Pines, NC. Despite the name, they offer so much more than just ice cream. They have a great menu with sandwiches, salads, wraps, and more. We tried the chicken sub and steak sub with potato salad, and they were both very filling. The portions were sizeable, and the food tasted very fresh.

When the weather is nice, patrons can sit outside and enjoy the breeze while people watching.  Since they’re also a regular restaurant, they’re open year round, but be prepared to wait on an especially nice day. (Just know that whether you’re getting real food or an ice cream treat, it’s worth the wait.)
